She was already dog door trained and actually I didn't even have to teach her to ask to go out. She did it herself. She has a very calm and collected demeanor, is highly intelligent (figured out how to open a standard wire kennel), agile/energetic (was doing agility obstacles at a young age), and is great with people. Especially children. She has excelled in every class we have taken. I signed up for a CGC class and was told she was already prepared to test. I will take some credit, but I believe much of this can be attributed to her breeding. She has an exceptionally high prey drive and is proving to be a natural at scenting. I regularly receive positive comments on her looks, demeanor, and intelligence. She is highly protective of my home and alerts me to any strange presence. She also possesses a level of self-restraint and has not been aggressive with strangers that I allow into the home. I also believe she has some ability to sense people's character as she does not warm up to certain types of people. I have not decided what path we will pursue following CGC, but I'm sure she will excel at whatever is chosen.
